Lille is a very active and pleasant city, and to stay in the center of Lille is the most natural choice. You will be in one of the most lively area of the metropolitan area, close to most interesting places, restaurants and night life. If you take an hotel at a walking distance from Lille Flandres Railway Station, you reach the conference venue by a twelve-minute subway ("Métro") ride. The best areas are around the Lille Flandres Railway Station, around the "Place du Général de Gaulle" (5 minute walk to the station) and in the Old Town (10 to 15 minute walk to the station).
